All you need is your favorite cheese, a few teaspoons of vinegar, and Alka Seltzer. Yes, Alka Seltzer. This cheese sauce tastes of pure cheese, and it's bomb proof. Make a big batch and refrigerate it. Nuke it in the microwave over and over. It just melts back into smooth, molten cheese. Enjoy!
Recipe:
(1) Combine 3 Alka Seltzer tablets (aspirin-free, flavor-free) with 6 teaspoons (60g) of distilled vinegar. Let this react until fizzing stops.
(2) Grate 6 oz / 170 g of medium-hard cheese, like cheddar.
(3) Pour Alka Seltzer mix into pot and stir in cheese over medium heat until soft and melted.
(4) Adjust to desired consistency with water, about 3 oz / 85 g.
(5) Stir in your favorite chili peppers and enjoy!

diese idee hat mir besonders gefallen, auch wenn sie mit etwas mühe bereits heute auf fast allen geräten konfigurierbar ist (und ich fast alle geräte auf still geschaltet habe)

If the product is genuinely valuable, quiet mode should improve retention, because it respects the user’s attention and intent.
Also, it’s a nice forcing function. If your product can’t stand on its own without constantly poking the user, that’s a signal. Maybe not the signal you want, but definitely a signal.

I really love the fact that someone who worked for someone else quietly and modestly drew out the design of this lovely waiting room one day, then went home for tea and probably didn’t even mention it over their beef and two veg. And then, ninety-odd years later, there are still people marvelling at their work and contorting themselves around lampposts to get good photos of it. I bet they never knew what a monumentally good day at work they’d had that day.

Am Ende handelt es sich dabei um eine Disziplinierungskampagne, die die kommunikative Infrastruktur des Internets nutzt, um Menschen und Institutionen zu verunsichern. Diese Kampagne wird von zahlreichen Menschen offenbar wie ein Hobby betrieben. Man verwendet dabei gezielt eine Rezensionsplattform wie Amazon, weil man weiß, dass es einen direkten Zusammenhang von Bewerten und Verkaufen gibt. Die Botschaft ist klar: Lass das bleiben, or else… Es ist im Wesentlichen genau die Haltung, die die Gegner geschlechtergerechter Sprache anderen unterstellen.

mein kurs heißt diesmal: bockige bilder und folgendes habe ich mir überlegt:
Bilder halten sich an nichts. Sie folgen keinen Plänen, sind nicht brav und oft haben sie andere Vorstellungen als wir. Man malt los, meint es gut, und irgendwann stellt man fest: das Bild macht doch, was es will. Jedenfalls nicht das, was man vorhatte. Das ist kein Fehler, sondern der Zustand, in dem Malerei interessant wird. In diesem Kurs geht es um genau diesen Moment: wenn Bilder widerspenstig werden, sich querstellen und anfangen, eigene Bedingungen zu stellen.
Die Elbphilharmonie ist imposant, aber nicht so grazil wie gedacht. Sie ist etwas klobig. Das Dach ist allerdings schon sehr ikonisch. Ich würde mir wünschen, in Berlin würde man solche ästhetischen Bauten aufstellen lassen, aber alles, was irgendwie ikonisch oder schlichtweg geil aussieht, wird in Berlin nicht genehmigt, weil es nicht ins Stadtbild passt. Ich frage mich dann immer: Habt ihr schon mal das Berliner Stadtbild gesehen? Willst du da wirklich etwas passend machen?
Draksal: Eine einfache Methode ist: Stellen Sie sich immer, wenn ein Problem auftaucht, die Frage: Was ist das Gute daran? Das senkt das Stresslevel direkt, und Sie kommen in eine positive Haltung zum Problem.
SPIEGEL: Manchmal gibt es aber nichts Gutes an einer Situation.
Draksal: Es geht nicht ums Schönreden, sondern darum, die Perspektive zu verändern.

- fake auswahl: „willst du die jacke hier anziehen oder lieber draussen anziehen?“
- eigene emotionen reduzieren indem man mit antworten andertalb minuten lang wartet
- die perspektive der anderen sehen, bzw. auf augenhöhe kommunizieren, so dass das gegenüber sich drauf einstellen kann was kommt und sich einbezogen fühlt : „wenn wir heute spazieren gehen müssen wir unsere reinhold-jacken anziehen.“
